Antony Chapman Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 16, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antony Glen Chapman, who left us on March 15, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 29, 1949, in London, England, Antony was a bright spirit who spent much of his life in Tennessee and North Carolina. He excelled as an electrical engineer, using his skills to make a mark in the industry while enjoying the camaraderie of his colleagues.
Antony was a man of many passions. He loved to hit the trails, hiking through nature and soaking up the beauty of the great outdoors. Fishing was another special hobby of his; he could often be found by the water, casting his line and enjoying the tranquility it brought him. His green thumb didn't go unnoticed either-he cultivated an impressive garden that garnered him several awards, a testament to his dedication and talent.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Gladys Chapman.
He is survived by his estranged spouse, LaDonna Chapman and step daughter Kiesha Gunter, his twin sister Tezz Niemeyer, sisters Billie Chapman, Jacqueline Williams, and Iola Goeke who stood by his side through many adventures in life. Together, they created countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Antony's life and legacy will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends. We invite everyone who knew Antony to join us in honoring this remarkable man who touched our lives with his kindness and enthusiasm for life.
Antony may have left this world, but his spirit will continue to inspire us as we cherish the memories we shared with him.
