Antwuane Williams

Antwuane Montray Williams, age 34 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., peacefully passed away on his birthday, November 3, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born on November 3, 1991, in St. Louis, Mo., the beloved son of Dimetres Dorsey Sr. and Priscilla Jane Williams.
Antwuane graduated from Jefferson City High School in 2012, where he shone both in the classroom and on the sports field, playing basketball and running track. Never one to place himself in a box, Twon made sure he tried his hand in a plethora of careers.
A true social butterfly, Antwuane was known for his infectious energy. He loved going out, dancing, and enjoying music, especially R&B and rap, with a special fondness for the classics. Though he never had to be the center of attention, he thrived in the company of others, always observing and making sure everyone was having a great time.
Antwuane was a devoted family man, both to his blood relatives and to the chosen family he gathered along the way. He adored his mother's cooking, with macaroni and cheese being his ultimate favorite, and he cherished family gatherings, especially holiday dinners where he could help "turn up" the joy. He was the uncle who always made time for his nieces and nephews, and a friend who never forgot to check in.
Gifted with an old soul and a talent for storytelling, Antwuane had a remarkable knack for remembering the little details that made each person and each story special. He read people well, understood them deeply, and made everyone around him feel like family.
Antwuane Montray Williams will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the love he shared so freely. His family and friends will carry forward his legacy of kindness and the countless memories of his bright spirit.
Survivors include: his parents, Dimetres and Priscilla; his grandmother, Barbara Dorsey; his foster mother, Quincie Hickman; seven siblings, Christina, Arielle, Shanta, Tiffany, Dimetres, Jr., Cartez, and Dimetres III; a host of foster siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Octavia; his grandmother Luevenia Williams; and two nephews, Marquise and Roland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at Second Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Antwuane Williams to assist with funeral arrangements.
