Evan was born January 27, 1949 in Goodland, Kansas, a son of AP and Darline (Roe) Vohs. He is preceded in death by both parents, and one sister, Jan Vohs. He married Dean Dixon on April 18, 1997, in Siloam Springs. Evan was the owner/operator of Evan's Body Shop, in Siloam Springs, AR. He enjoyed his family, his career, and racing on both land and water.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Vohs, of Siloam Springs, AR; four children, Devin Vohs (Sandy) of Noblesville, IN., Erin Paskiewicz (Ryan) of Siloam Springs, AR., Darren Vohs (Mariah) of Castle Rock, CO., and Megan Seliga (Tom) of Centerton, AR.; seven grandchildren, Haddie, Isaiah, Asher, Noah, Harper, Elliot, and Emory; and one brother, Randy Vohs.
There will be a celebration of life at State Line Baptist Church on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. His ashes will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Siloam Springs, AR, at a later date. To sign the online guestbook, please visit: www.wassonfuneralhome.com
