April Willeen Tiger was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on January 19, 1973 to Martha Lucille Jeans (Tohee) and Lewis David “Gooch” Jeans, and Stepmother Sidonna Jeans. She embarked on her heavenly journey on July 15, 2025 in Red Rock having reached the age of 52. Granddaughter of Dorcas Bassett and William Tohee. Other Grandparents Olynthia Pipestem and Rufus Jeans. Sam and Margaret Bassett (Fulk), and Frank and Maria Pipestem. She enjoyed going on any random adventures, loved playing disc golf, spending time with family and mostly grandchildren, and she was a longtime Texas Longhorns fan. She greeted everyone with a hello and a visit. April is survived by her daughters Jordan and John Hamilton of Midwest City, Olene and Ivan Fry of Ponca City, Thetath Bosin of Shawnee and sons Jonathan Deere of Oklahoma City and Wynston Tiger-Jeans of Ponca City. Grandchildren; Gerald, Augustine, Alayna, John Hamilton Jr, Elise, Wynston Jr, Saylor, Josiah, Zeke, Nathaniel, Isaiah, and Madelyn. Sisters; Lisa Grant of Ohio, Paula Butler, Dorcas Jeans, Dawn Harrison all of Red Rock and Shauna Mayfield of Ponca City, Uncle Wilfred and Hannah Jeans of Arizona, and Cheryl Barnes of Arizona. Plus, a number of other Relatives and many other friends. April is proceeded in death by Parents Martha Jeans and Lewis Jeans, Brothers; John (Stink) Jeans, Sam Harrison, Sonny Graves, Sister Felicia Tohee, Nephew Moses Tiger Scott and Grandsons Gunner Fry and Christian Deere. Granddaughters; Audy Jeans and Aliyahana Warrior. Aunt Norma Tohee and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be Wednesday at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center with Amos Littlecrow and Pastor Jimmy Kenner officiating. Traditional noon meal, funeral and giveaway Thursday with private cremation on Friday under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee.
