She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Ladd. She is survived by her daughters, Promise Ladd and Nevaeh Ladd; mother and stepfather, Shirley and Gary Sykes; sisters, Cindy Cassel (Eddie) and Lisa Price (Marc): grandchildren, Kyree Breland and Syah Ladd; and longtime companion, Chris Linsey.
April enjoyed being with her family, cooking, and being in nature, especially the water.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

April was a quiet and shy young lady who loved her daughters and grandchildren so much. She would light up talking about them. She was my in-laws' caregiver, and they truly thought of her as a daughter. I am so very sorry to learn of her passing. My prayers are with her girls and family at this difficult time. God Bless you all!!
