Arbutus Kitchen Blevins, age 91, of Grayson, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at UK-King's Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 10, 1934, in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James L. And Elizabeth McDavid Kitchen.

Arbutus was a member of Bruin Enterprise Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, Sunday drives with her children and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles Blevins; one daughter, Debra Shearer; two brothers, Joe Kitchen, Gary Kitchen; one infant sister, Joyce Kitchen; daughter-in-law, Marsha Blevins and one sister-in-law, Mary Kitchen.

She is survived by one son, Charles Darren Blevins of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter, Pamela (Timothy) Wilson of Grayson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Shearer, Shea Fraley, Dereck Blevins, Larissa Blevins; seven great- grandchildren, Makenzi, Dylan, Brody, Brandi, Sawyer, Rylie and Carter; one sister-in-law, Mary Lee Kitchen of Grayson, Kentucky; along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Dereck Blevins and Brother Tim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, September 18, 2025, and after 9 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.

Jeremiah Shears, Dereck Blevins, Jamie Fraley, Dylan Fraley, Brody Shearer and Sawyer Shearer will serve as pallbearers.

Roger Kitchen, Mike Kitchen, Jeff Kitchen, Doug Knipp, Kris Kitchen and Victor Brickey will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Arbutus Kitchen Blevins.
