Sorry for our friend Anthony and his family on the tragic loss of their mother. May he always feel of his mother's love and his Heavenly Father's love too. May he gain comfort in the eternal plan of salvation. May the strength, love and conviction of his mom inspire him to keep his own candle burning brightly always in honor of his mother and may he be blessed with comfort and peace.

On the 10th anniversary of 9/11, my beautiful niece Arianna, will be walking in Las Vegas to remember you Arcella Castillo. I hope that your family has found peace without you by their side. We will never forget you.

I will miss you aunt arcelia. Even though we never got the chance to meet we can one day have that chance. We miss you my dad rodrigo, my mom yolanda and me. You will always be remembered

Reciban de su tía Doris, quien guarda para ustedes la mas sensible y fraternal estimación, un fuerte abrazo y con este mi sincero deseo de que cuando esta carta lean la divina providencia me les depare un buen estado de salud y mucho bienestar.
Hoy quiero, como prueba de este inmensurable cariño y como siempre lo he anhelado, comunicarme con quienes, al igual que con mi adorable Arcelia q.e.p.d, sostuve un bonito nexo de familiaridad, siempre acentuado por el intercambio de afectos que, a pesar de la distancia, y la dura pena que el destino nos impuso, llevo especialmente muy unidos en mi corazón.
Solamente Dios sabe la triste nostalgia que he sentido durante los últimos ya casi siete años, al no poder saber nada sobre los que tanto aprecio y es este también un gran motivo para pedirles, si a bien lo consideran, que por favor no olviden a esta tía que día a día quisiera saber de ustedes para sentir la felicidad que a través de este gesto su querida madrecita desde el cielo quisiera y puede seguir brindándome.
En este momentos mis amores, como bien segura estoy de sus nobles sentimientos y se que no me negaran la alegría de permitirme saber sobre sus vidas, de mi les cuento que me siento algo sola, dada la definitiva ausencia de mi esposo Gerardo y un poco delicada de salud, sin embargo tengo el aliciente de muy pronto recibir noticias suyas, lo cual menguaría en gran medida mis quebrantos.

In remembrance....

Wanted to express my condolances and say that i used Miss Castillo as my example for "Portraits of Grace" for a theology report on ordinary people leading gracious and good lives. She is a very good example of people overcoming hardships and leading triumphant and productive lives.

I just wanted to say that I knew Ms. Castillo and her two sons Alex and Anthony Roman. From the bottom of my heart, words cannot describe how sorry I am. Your mom was a great person and family friend. Our family will miss her.

I just wanted to say that I recently purchased a memory band from 9/11 and I was sent Arcelia's name. Please know that she will be in my heart and my prayers. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

On a day like today, my heart aches for you and your family. Reading your story and knowing the important things you have revealed about your family makes your pain so real for people like me. I know that your Mother, Grandmother, and Companion is looking down and watching over each and every one of you. I don't know you and didn't know your mother, but you are loved and thought of all around the world. May God continue to Bless you and all of those who lost loved ones. Everyday people like me that didn't know anyone in those towers, fields, and pentagon, think about people like you everyday at least once a day. Thank you for representing our Country.

I did not know you or anyone who lost their lifes on 9/11/01. May God Bless you and watch over the ones that you left behind. Rest in his loving peace.......

To The Family of Arcelia:

I continue to pray for GOD to comfort you and hope that he will give you ALL the strength to deal with your loss and the Courage to continue your lives without ARCELIA. Arcelia and I met at Elizabeth H.S. approx. 1991/1992 when we enrolled for a WordPerfect Computer Class. I lived in Elizabeth, NJ at the time we met. The last time I saw Arcelia we had lunch was at Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank Cafeteria across from the World Trade Center because I was changing jobs. My memories of Arcelia are very pleasant and I am saddened that she was lost due to the most horrific events in NYC. I still work at Ground Zero, I think of her constantly.
Fore me, this evening when the 2 beams of lights are shown, 1st of those beams of light will be for Arcelia and 2nd beam of light is for her FAMILY.
