Mr. Archie G. Miles, age 76, entered into rest January 3, 2025. He was born October 24, 1948. Archie served in the Army during Vietnam and received a Purple Heart for his service. Later on he worked as an electrical foreman for TVA. He was married to his lovely wife, Ramona Lawson Miles, for 38 years. Archie was an avid golfer and fisherman. He is proceeded in death by; Parents: Archie Frank and Emma Jean Miles; Brother: James Miles; Sister: Gail Frisbee (Mike); Daughter: Lisa Miles; Father and Mother-in-law: George and Martha Lawson; Sister-in-laws: Charity Garner, Fannie Reece; and Brother-in-law: Leonard Lawson
Survivors include:
Wife: Ramona Lawson Miles
Granddaughter: Jeanelle Shipwash (Jacob)
Stepson: Heath Shinpaugh
Brother: Jakes Miles (Debra)
Sister: Glenna Moore (Melvin)
Sister-in-laws: Irene Miles
Sarah Foshee
Marie Caldwell
Geraldine Palmer
Great Grandchildren: Sadie, Ryker, and Killian
Special Friends: George Hendrix, Larry Rogers, James Ladd, and Becky Ladd
And many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary , January 9, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Chasteen officiating. A graveside service will be held January 10, 2025, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m. EST in Lenoir City, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Archie G. Miles.
