Archie Smith, 73, of Woodville, Texas, passed away in his home on January 22, 2025. Archie was born on July 28, 1951, to Freddie and Truddie Mae Smith.
Archie attended Scott High School before transferring to Kirby High School, where he graduated in 1969. He pursued higher education at Wharton Jr. College and later earned his Master's degree in Business Management from Lamar University. After completing his education, Archie dedicated many years to his career at Air Control, where he worked until the company closed.
Archie was a single man, known for his sharp wit, bright spirit, and kind heart. He found joy in making those around him laugh and brought light to the lives of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Truddie Mae Smith; siblings, Freddie Nelson Smith, Leon Smith, and Raylyn Smith; and niece, Tammie Smith.
Archie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his children, Kennedi Smith and Tristan Hadnot; his brother, Bronte Smith and wife Dorthy Smith; Sister-in-law; Roxie Smith, nieces; Nycole Smith and Kayele McCain; nephews, Caleby McCain, Rico Bodwin, and Damario Rodriguez.
Archie's life was a testament to resilience, love, and laughter. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
