Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Dec. 15, 2025.
Arden Stroud-Mosley, 67, of Hammonton, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth "Betty" Stroud, Arden grew up in
Magnolia, NJ in a loving family rooted in faith and community. She attended Saint Gregory Catholic School and was a proud graduate of Sterling High School.
A beautiful person of gentle spirit, always quick to share an encouraging smile that would light up a room, Arden lived her life prioritizing others' needs before those of her own. Preserving nature, protecting wildlife and wild spaces, compassion for animals, antiques, and history were among Arden's fondest interests. Arden found great joy throughout her life in creating diverse art forms including ceramics, paintings, drawings, delicate beadwork, and jewelry making. She also loved children, visiting with family, quiet moments with a good puzzle, relaxing at home with her husband and pet cat, and cherished times shared with her Elmtowne community friends.
Prior to retirement, Arden most recently worked for Telecom Assistance Group, Inc (TAG). She previously served a multitude of years with Science Dynamics Corp (SDC), Kmart, and a delicatessen. Throughout and wherever she devoted her time, she made lasting friendships and was known for her attention to detail, warmth, compassion, and supportive nature.
Arden's lifelong love of animals was reflected from childhood through her adulthood in adopted pets ranging from dogs, cats, a duck, and more. She and her husband Jim have always maintained special favor for having at least one household cat as a constant companion and source of joy.
In her early years, traveling and camping with her mother, father, and two brothers brought Arden a lot of enjoyment. More recently, treasured adventures for Arden were the ones shared with her husband Jim, notably their travels together to Cancun, Yellowstone, Arkansas, Cape May, and the Smoky Mountains.
To all who knew her, she was caring, steadfast and brought a gentle light into the lives of everyone around her. Arden will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her compassion, creativity, and the kindness she shared so freely.
Arden is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jim Mosley; her brothers, Ken (Donna) and Jeff; her father-in-law, James Mosley; her mother-in-law, Sandy Drayer; her niece, Lauren (Doug); her great nieces, Scarlett, Caroline and Emily; her brother-in-law, Mark (Betty Ann) and their daughters Gabrielle and Courtney.
Arden is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth and her nephew Kenny.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Arden Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street,
Woodstown, NJ 08098. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the service following at 11 a.m.
