Ardith Larson, age 94, of Milbank, SD, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at St. William’s Care Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Tabor Lutheran Church in Strandburg, SD.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mundwiler Funeral Home, in Milbank, and continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Pastor Elmer Brinkman will officiate, and burial will be at Tabor Lutheran Cemetery.

Ardith P. (Dockter) Larson, daughter of Otto and Linda (Karges) Dockter, was born on March 21, 1929, at Twin Brooks, SD. She attended Kilborn #2 Country School through eighth grade.
As a young woman, Ardith worked at Schad’s Bakery and Milbank Mercantile until she married. On October 15, 1949, she was united in marriage with Marinus “Mike” Larson at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank, SD. Ardith was baptized and confirmed at Emanuel Lutheran Church and was a member there until 1949. She then joined Tabor Lutheran Church in Strandburg, SD, remaining a member until her death.
Ardith and Mike lived on their farm in Madison Township near Stockholm and together, raised their family. In 1993, they retired and moved to Milbank. Ardith was a member of the Tabor Women at Tabor Lutheran Church and a member of the Strandburg American Legion Auxiliary for many years.
Ardith is survived by her children: Gerald Larson of Stockholm, SD; Sharon (Russ) Jellis of Fredrick, CO; Linda (Daniel) Kasuske of Milbank, SD; Phyllis (Fred) Van Hoorn of Milbank, SD; Richard Larson of Stockholm, SD; Norman Larson (Barb Werner) of Stockholm, SD; ex-daughter-in-law, Lyn Larson of Sioux Falls, SD; eleven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters; and four brothers.
