Aristides C. Rodriquez was born on August 31, 1938, to the late Abad Colon and Dolores Rodriquez in Arecibo. Puerto Rico. He departed this life on January 6, 2026, in Seaford, DE. He was 87.

Aristides left PR and moved to Bridgeville, De at the age of 23. He met and married Sylvia Horton. Through this union they had six children whom he loved dearly. They later divorced while remaining friends until his death.

Aristides was fondly known as William or Willie was a loving father. In his early years he loved taking his kids, crabbing at Trap Pond and after leaving there to the Sussex West Drive-In.

William was a very dependable and hard worker. He worked unite the age of 83. Willam enjoyed family BBQ's and family events. He also loved playing cards, dancing a, and going to the Casinos. He would crack joes and laugh his heart out.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Rodriquez; his parents, Abad Colon and Dolores Rodriguez; brothers, Phillipe Colon (People), Maximo Rodriquez; and Margaro Rodriquez.

He leaves behind to mourn William Rodriquez (Serena) of San Antonio, TX, Lydia Ross, best friend Larry Bell of Seaford, DE, Antonio Rodriquez of Delmar, DE; Aristides F. Rodriquez (Alfreda) of Delmar, DE; Carlisa Gatling Dennis of Seaford, DE, Margarita Sawyer of Seaford, DE; 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 6 great great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

His life will be celebrated on January 16, 2026, beginning with a viewing at 10:00amEST at Mt. Enon Baptist Church. The celebration of his life will continue at the same venue at 12:00pmEST, followed by interment at 2:00pmEST at Milford Community Cemetery.

Aristides's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and family. In his memory, we encourage those who knew and loved him to share their memories and upload photos on his memorial page. These will serve as a living tribute to a man who touched so many lives.
