Aristille Solomon Obituary
Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church honoring the life of Aristille "T-Boy" Solomon, 64, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at New Iberia Manor North.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 AM on Saturday.
Rev. Greg Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
Aristille was born on March 15, 1961, in Lafayette. He dedicated his life to his work at The Arc of St. Martin, where he formed strong bonds with friends and staff who became like family to him.
Aristille was known for his infectious smile and loving spirit. He found joy in simple pleasures, whether playing Bingo and cards, watching Sci-Fi movies, engaging with his tablet, or listening to music. His warm presence and positive outlook touched the lives of many, leaving behind fond memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He is survived by his siblings, James Charles, Anna Solomon, and Jacqueline Charles; his surrogate family, Ashley and Kobe Anthony; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aristille and Mary Charles Solomon; his surrogate mother, Margaret "Git" Robicheaux Anthony; and his brother, Roy Solomon.
Pallbearers will be Noah Livings, Cameron Livings, Kobe Anthony, Travis Anthony, Kenny Ledet, and Kent Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Tauzin, Jules Theriot, Boyd Gonsoulin, and Paul Perry.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Staff of ARC of St. Martin for providing emotional and physical support through the years, especially Dominique Robicheaux, Freda Etienne, and the Robicheaux Family.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
