Arjan Gercaliu

Arjan Gercaliu, age 61, passed away on March 4, 2026.

Beloved husband of Klara (née Besho). Loving father of Aljon and Enea. Proud grandfather of Luka and Leo. Dear son of Alije and the late Petrit Gercaliu. Cherished brother of Drita (Lushi) Lala and Entela (Arjan) Banda. Loving uncle of Kena Bean, Ada Elieff, Erli Lala, Rei Banda, and Era Banda.

Arjan was born on April 30, 1964, in Tirana, Albania. He grew up in Tirana, where he was a professional volleyball player and worked as a physical education teacher. It was there that he met his wife, Klara, in high school, and their love grew into a marriage that lasted 40 beautiful years.

Arjan later built a career as an owner-operator truck driver, dedicating 30 years to his work. He was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and the way he always looked out for the people around him. Wherever he went, Arjan also brought a joyful spirit and was the life of the party, known for his laughter and ability to bring people together.

Above all, Arjan loved spending time with his family and especially cherished gatherings where everyone could be together. He believed that life is meant to be shared with others, and he showed that through the care and kindness he gave to those around him. At family celebrations and gatherings, his presence, laughter, and energy were unforgettable.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, at Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.
