Obituary of Arleane Charmaine Hughes
Arleane "Leane" Charmaine Hughes passed away on September 22, 2023.
She was born on October 8, 1980, in Wurzburg, Germany to Eugene Pruitt and Zarrie Pruitt.
Arleane attended King Elementary School in Fountain, Colorado. She went to Janitell Junior High and attended Widefield High School. Arleane went on to Pikes Peak Community College to pursue her registered nursing career, but then went on to graduate from Medical Assistant School.
Arleane loved and adored her three children and dogs were her weakness. She enjoyed dancing and singing. She even recorded a few songs and made records and tapes in a recording studio when she was a teenager, seeing she wanted to pursue a singing career. She had a beautiful, soft voice.
Arleane enjoyed doing her hair in unique styles and painting her nails, and she loved cooking and making desserts. She loved family and had a great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Pruit; and her grand-nieces, Miana Charity, and Ta'lia Jaye Collier.
Arleane leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her beautiful mother, Zarrie Pruitt Sims; step-father Willie Lee Sims; husband, Broderick Hughes; daughter, Laraisa Cole; sons, De'Audrea Hughes, and DeShaun Hughes; sisters, Larraine Henny, Vivere Jones, Marie Nelson, Lucy Piper, and Andrea Firth; brothers, Marlon Jules, and Erik Pruitt; nieces, Cherrice Desheen, Cherrelle Jones, Ebony Collier, Tiffany Ross, Maxine Jules, and Harriett Firth-Clark; nephews, Devon Pruitt, Mecko Jones, Andrei Jones, Sean Davis, Tavon Davis, and Donte Davis; plus a hose of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
Memorial Service, 3:00PM, Thursday, October 5, 2023, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
