Arleen M. Ambrose

Arleen M. Ambrose, age 77, of New Franken, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025. She was born September 3, 1947 in Green Bay, daughter of the late William and Adelle (Brunner) Burkart.

Arleen was a graduate of Green Bay Preble High School. She had a kind and loving nature, which lended itself to her work as an in home care taker.

Later in her life, Arleen met the love of her life, Thomas "Tom" Shinnick. They shared many wonderful years together, especially making memories at their beloved campground in Sturgeon Bay. Tom passed away in 2013.

Arleen was a talented cook who loved to share her delicious meals with family and friends, most famously her Booyah. She also enjoyed cheering on the Packers and collecting cardinal figurines.

Arleen is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Lynn) Marin and a granddaughter, Heather (Nathan) Mertens and a great-grandson, Sterling Mertens. She is further survived by 2 sisters and the Goddaughter she shared with Tom, Melanie Peters.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronnie, 2 brothers and her long time boyfriend, Tom Shinnick.

In accordance with Arleen's wishes, private services will be held by her family.
