Arlene Mae Czuba, age 94, of Grayling passed away on November 3, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1930 in St. Charles, MI to Howard E. and Alice (Richmond) Albers.
She graduated from St. Charles High School in June of 1947. She completed a small business machines course which resulted in employment at C & O Railroad and also Wickes Corporation. In 1961 she moved north to Beaver Creek Township with her three children to be near her grandparents, Marion and Sophia Richmond. She found part-time employment with the Crawford County Welfare Department becoming a state of Michigan employee in September of 1965. Arlene retired after 25 years. She took many tour bus trips throughout the United States, fishing, snowmobiling, picking blueberries and morel mushrooms. She enjoyed bird watching, especially the bluebirds. She was a member of the Thursday lunch group and the Red Hat club, Cherry Bon-Bons. She lost her best friend Beverly Lowrey Halliday in June 2020.
Survived by Daughters: Linda (Richard) Moshier and Cathy Czuba; Sister: Donna Tribfelner; Brother: Randy Albers; Grandchildren: Scott (Carla) Czuba, Tiffany (Josh) VanHorn, Andrew Czuba, Cory (Stacey) Moshier, Melissa (Dylan) Kocefas, Haley Kocefas; Step-grandchildren: Katie Tinker, Rob Tinker, Kari Knight, Kristen Keswick, and Jamie Walker; 7 Great-grandchildren; 8 Great-great-grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded by Parents, Brother Larry Albers, Brother-in-law Dale Tribfelner, Sister-in-law Becky Albers, and Son Dale Czuba.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home with a luncheon provided. A service will take place at 1:00 PM.
