Arlene Fairbert Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Buchanan-Rembs Funeral Home - Pittsville on Jun. 7, 2023.
Arlene Marie (Larson) Fairbert, 93, of Marshfield passed away Tuesday June 6, 2023 at Marshfield Health Services - Three Oaks.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pittsville at 11am on Saturday, June 10, 2023, with visitation from 9:30 to 11am. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.
Arlene was born April 20, 1930 in the Town of Cary, Wood County to Clarence J. and Marie V (Hoof) Larson. She attended school in Pittsville, graduating in 1950. Following which she found work as a dental technician. On August 19, 1950 she married Roger Fairbert at St. John's Lutheran in Pittsville. She had been a member of the Pittsville American Legion Auxiliary for over 70 years and had been formally as such.
She was a devoted mother to their two sons. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and yard work. She loved to knit, crochet, and do needlework. Arlene had made many afghans and craft items for gifts. She also worked at various part-time jobs such as at the cranberry marsh, Figi's, and the canning factory. An avid outdoorswoman, Arlene loved camping with her family, and she & Roger spent 12 winters in Arizona with their camper.
Arlene is survived by her husband of nearly 73 years Roger and their two sons: Dennis (Cheri) and Dean (Bridgett) Fairbert, both of Marshfield. She is further survived by two granddaughters: Nicole and Morgan, and four great-grandchildren: Alison, Hunter, Tyler, and Bailey.
She is predeceased by her parents, her twin sister Irene, and Irene's husband Glen Dillman.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to the staff at Three Oaks and ProMedica Hospice for their loving care.
