Arlene D. (Varney) Harriman passed away on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Belfast, ME. Arlene was born in Camden Maine on October 28, 1952, to Howard Varney and Marion (Lane) Varney.
Arlene grew up in the Camden-Rockport area and graduated from Camden-Rockport High School. She was a stay-at-home mom until her girls were older and was a Girl Scout leader during that time. Arlene decided to attend cosmetology school and became a beautician and worked at various salons before deciding to open her own salon, "Curl up and Dye". Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family; she also enjoyed camping very much. Arlene was a very caring mother, mimi, wife and friend. She was always happy, which made it easy for her to make many friends.
