Services for Dorothy Arlene (Tate) O’Neal, 95, formerly of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. O’Neal passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at her home in Cuyahoga Falls.
She was a member of the Grace Church of Mentor, lived life to its fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her three children: Terry (Charlotte) Davidson of Gales Ferry, CT, Darleen (Lynn) Smith of Willoughby, OH, and Richard Davidson of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. She also leaves her grandchildren, Wende (Scott) Snow, Jacki (Jeff) Polak, Scott (Roxanne) Davidson, Joel (Meredith) Davidson, Andrew (Anne) Davidson, Heather (Luke) Miller, Erin (Jack) Rolf, Holly (Wesley) Jean and Cory Davidson; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Ralph O’Neal and her step-son, Larry O’Neal. Her parents, Ralph and Bertha (Vest) Tate and siblings are also deceased. She was the last of her generation and will be missed but fondly remembered along with the rest of her family members that are gone but not forgotten.
Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens, following the service on Friday.
