Arlie Richman McCluskey

Arlie Richman McCluskey, age 70, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his residence. 

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Acuna officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. 

Arlie was born on March 8, 1954 in Sweetwater, Texas, to Arlie Hanzel and Earley Maybelle (Stowe) McCluskey. He married Susan Hill on July 3, 2012 in Sweetwater, Texas. He worked for Sweetwater Housing Authority in the maintenance department before retiring. He was a Christian. 

He is survived by his wife, Susan McCluskey of Sweetwater, Texas; daughters, Virginia McCluskey of Wisconsin, Alyssa McCluskey of Sweetwater, Texas, and Krystyne McCluskey of Oklahoma; step-daughter, Candace Carver and husband Justin; step-son, Jeffrey Hill of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Stephen, Sydney, and Autumn; step-grandchildren, Bryan Alexander Hill and Tristin Cole Carver; great grandchild, Saphira;  brother, Donis McCluskey and wife Sally of Sweetwater, Texas; and nephew, Landon McCluskey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie Hanzel (Speck) and Earley McCluskey.
