Arline Blackwell transitioned into eternal rest on October 26, 2023, at the graceful age of 92. Born on July 3, 1931, in Lewisburg, TN, she was the daughter of the late David George and Kate Isley Whitesell.
The visitation to honor Arline’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 12:00 PM leading up to the funeral service at 2:00 PM. The entombment will follow at Sunset Park.
Arline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Blackwell, her father, David George, her mother, Kate Isley Whitesell, her cherished brother William Morgan Whitesell, and her dear sister Isabell Jett. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever reside in the hearts of her son, Terry (Patricia) Blackwell, and her daughter, Michelle Hall. Her cherished grandchildren, Bryan Blackwell, Krystle Dominguez, and Brittany Pullen, alongside her treasured great-grandchildren, carry forth her legacy.
Arline had a penchant for the beauty of flowers, a quaint collection of glass shoes, and a vast array of magazines. Her culinary prowess was showcased in the kitchen, where she cooked delightful dishes for her family and friends whom she held close to her heart.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Contributions can be made online at https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=39209&mfc_pref=T&39209.donation=form1.
