Arlington L. "Arley" WADSWORTH

WADSWORTH, Arlington "Arley" L., 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Mr. Wadsworth was a United States Army veteran, having served during WWII. He retired from Firestone in 1982, then worked part-time with Winn-Dixie for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Trout Mauger. Mr. Wadsworth is survived by his wife, Josephine L. "Jo" Wadsworth; two daughters, Dixie W. Szabo of Chester and Donna W. Vaccare of Crewe; a son, Duane "Jay" Wadsworth of Colonial Heights; a grandson, Robert Joseph Szabo of Richmond; a great-grandson, Joe-Joe Szabo; two half-brothers, Jack and Daniel Mauger, both of Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Fred Adkins officiating. Interment Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
