With the passing of Armando "Chick" Gallela, we have lost yet another member of "The Greatest Generation."....My heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

May you rest in eternal peace with our Lord. Thank you for your service. Your bravery will never be forgotten as you took on the battle to keep America safe. I honor you then, now and forever. You are a Hero! My deepest condolences to your family.

Every time I learn of one from America's greatest generation leaving us, I'm reminded of my hero, who was stationed on the USS West Virginia that fateful morning, and survived by God's matchless grace. May all who mourn his passing experience that same grace, mercy and peace through His Son, and mankind's only hope.............Mathew 11:28 - 30.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. My granddaddy was in the Marines. He was in Pearl Harbor before the attack. But he and my grandmother and mother left before the attack. I know my granddaddy was so devastated. Mr. Galella was an inspiring man. I am sorry he lost his friend in the attack. And he was great to have a park named in honor of his friend. The Lord Is My Shepherd. Psalm 23.
