Our deepest condolences to Mrs Milo and family. I just found out of his passing. Armando and I worked a Blazer Financial Services for many years. I am from McAllen but live in Fulshear TX, I was searching the internet to locate him to visit over the phone with him. That's when I found out he had passed. May he Rest In Peace in the Arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen! Until we meet again. God Bless the Family.

I have fond memories of Armando and am saddened by his passing. My mind's eye takes me back some seventy-five years to our primary school years at St. Augustine Parochial School where we were classmates. I also recall his handsome older brothers and the Riverside Cafe in back of the Market Plaza on San Agustin Ave. A short time later I transferred to another school and lost track of the Milo's. In the early 1960's, I moved to San Antonio where I worked for the Social Security Administration. It was there that I saw Mike, Jr., accompany his parents to apply for benefits. I ran into Armando once in that city but never saw him again. Would have liked to have done so to tell him what I now know--that we share ancestors with the Guerra's from Los Ojuelos (he on the maternal side, me on paternal). I value the connection. May the memories that Armando left behind comfort his daughter, sons, and family in the days ahead. Nothing is ever lost as long as we remember. Have a blessed repose, Armando.

To the Family of Armando Milo:
My family and I send our condolences and pray that God give you the peace that you need during this time of sorrow. Your dad and I were childhood friends and he was one of the best basketball players ever in the City of Laredo along with Kid Perez having led St. Agustine to several TCIL State finals. Your dad was an All-State Player and my roommate at Texas A & I University in Kingsville where he majored in Business Administration. He was very proud of his service in the Marine Corps but his biggest achievement was his family: Armando Jr., Mark, Derek, Jocelyn, and his beloved granddaughter Alyssa. My health prevents me from attending the services but Armando knows that I am there. - Hector Farias, Jr.

Armando and I were students at Laredo Junior College and became good friends. He was a fun person to be with and we enjoyed sharing jokes and funny stories. He was a marvelously good basket ball player and his height stood him in good stead. He stood heads above all the other players! The last time I saw him was either late 70's or early 80's. Had not changed one bit. Still the perfect gentleman he was in college. I offer my deepest condolences to all his family members, especially his daughter, Jocelyn, whom I know he loved deeply. My prayers will be with all of you asking our Blessed Lord to lighten your burden as much as He can. I lost a son eight years ago this month, so I say death is not something you get over, but it is something one learns to live with on a daily basis. May God grant Milo the rest his body would not give him.
