Armella "Dolly" C. Dolgner, 99 of Delavan, WI, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan, WI. She was born October 16, 1923 in Hartford, WI, the daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Engeleiter) Doll. Armella was united in marriage to Henry "Hank" Guetzkow, who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she sang in the church choir. Armella later married Wayne Dolgner, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed bowling throughout her entire life and participated in many bowling leagues into her 90's. Armella also enjoyed plastic canvas art making a variety of projects.
Armella is survived by her two children: Robert Rentmeester of King, WI and Bruce (Laura) Guetzkow of Delavan, WI, seven grandchildren: Robert Jr. (Colly), Julie (Dave), Michelle (Dave), Chris (Chuck), Rachel (Tom), Leanne (Michael) and Amanda (Alex), thirteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way, her sister, Virginia (Stan) Griesmer and sister-in-law, Carol Doll. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and seven siblings: Dorothy, Herman, LeRoy, Mary Ann, Leander, Eugene and Theresa.
Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, WI, with Father Oriol officiating. Visitation will be 12:00PM until service time Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ridgestone Village, 1025 S. Second St. Delavan.
