Saddened to hear about Armen. Great guy who I got to know some at the University of Rochester. Armen was always so supportive and easy to talk with. We lost touch but I´m grateful for having known such an inspiring person. Condolences to all

I'm so sorry to hear of Armen's passing. He was a wonderful musician who played at The Partridge Inn in Augusta, GA years ago with his jazz band. I looked forward to listening to their music every weekend. The world has lost a talented soul.

Our 50th reunion at Rochester prompted me to reach out to those who had made an impact on me- I am saddened to learn of Armen's passing. We were 1/2 of the "pit orchestra" that accompanied the original musical "The Last Flower" which ran on campus in 1973. I have attached a photo of the band with Armen striking a pose as focused as in his photo above. I am grateful for the musical and spiritual gifts you shared, Armen.

I just looked at Armen´s Facebook page and was shocked to find out that he had passed away. Today would be his Birthday. I knew Armen through Binghamton and music. He was one of those players we all looked up to when I was a young violinist. RIP dear one

I am so sad to learn (when I went to his Facebook page just now to wish him happy birthday) that Armen had passed away in December. We grew up together in Binghamton, both of us playing violin in school and youth orchestras. Such a talented and fun guy - a real character, as they say! My deepest sympathy to his family.

Sincere sympathy to Armen's extended family.

Whenever you would talk to Armen, you could tell in his eyes that he was engaged and listening, and that you were the only person he was focused on in that moment. What a rare quality in today's world!

I'm thankful for the gift of his friendship and for the times we spent together on various projects. He will be missed.

Armen was always willing to pitch in whenever and wherever he was needed. I knew when I was president of the Men´s Club that I could always count on him

Family, music, and life were Armen's passions. He always greeted you with a smile. A much loved member of the St. Gabriel Men's Club, Armen played at many of the parish events.

Thank you Armen for the gift of your joy and music.

May you be blessed in God's Divine Mercy and Eternal Salvation.

I first met Armen in 7th grade in Binghamton and remained friends through high school. I'm glad we were able to reconnect these past few years. May Armen's memory be a blessing for all of his friends and family.

We knew each other primarily through the music program at BCHS. He was a master classical and jazz violinist. I specifically remember featuring him as soloist with our Binghamton Summer Jazz Band when we were all in high school. Pat Hollenbeck and myself conducted this group. Armen was a prince! I will miss him very much.
