Armond "Bud" Baroni passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at his home in Villanova after a long illness. Born and raised in Ridley Township, he was the son of the late Armond J. "Pip" and Madeline Baroni. Bud married his high school sweetheart, Charlotte Shallis in 1972. They lived in Wallingford, PA for many years, raising their family there. He was active coaching and traveling with his children's sports teams. He enjoyed time with his family more than anything. He and Charlotte loved hosting gatherings for family and friends.
Bud started his own business as a building contractor and sustained that business for many years. Later, he formed a business partnership with others. Bud built three of the houses in which he lived. In 2014, he established the Baroni Building Company in Paoli, PA, a family business for which he served as president. Expert craftsmanship, a hallmark of Baroni Building, has added to the prestige and renown of the company's custom work throughout the Main Line area and beyond.
In addition to his dedication to his family and career, Bud was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed owning cars and attending car shows throughout the region. He was a fan of the Philadelphia sports’ teams, especially the Eagles.
Bud is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte, their children, Joe (Emily), Greg (Stephanie), Carmine (Karyn), and Charlotte (David Michell); his beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Mia, Sophie, Maggie, Ben, Elsie, and Leona Baroni and Addie and Reid Michell, and his sisters, Annemarie Jay and Madeline Tocci. He was devoted to his entire family and loved by all.
Family and friends may attend his Viewing 10:30 AM to 12:15 PM on Saturday, April 4th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064.
