Arne Lester Essenpreis passed away on Saturday July 9, 2022 in Creve Coeur, Missouri at the age of 58. He was born on June 14, 1964 in St. Charles, Missouri the son of the late Arnold and Donna (Crouse) Essenpreis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Essenpreis, niece Brandi Essenpreis, and brother-in-law Don Sims.
Arne grew up in Berkley, Missouri and lived there for many years. He was employed as an archive assistant with the National Military Records Center in St. Louis before moving to Springfield, Oregon where he resided until just shortly before his passing. Throughout the years of his life, Arne enjoyed many pass times including swimming, bowling, baseball and soccer. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Blues Hockey fan. Arne was kind, funny, and always social. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him including the love of his life and long-time companion, Angelina Davis, a sister Connie Sims, and numerous cousins and many dear friends.
At this time there are no formal services planned. A celebration to honor and remember Arne s life will be planned at a later date.
