ArnL Bennett, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 18, 2023, in
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. He was born on February 21, 1949, in
Claremore, Oklahoma, to his loving parents, Jack and Earlsa Lee (McMurtry) Bennett.
ArnL Bennett's life was marked by a deep devotion to family and a passion for making those around him smile. He is now reunited with his parents, sister Barbara and brother Johnny in the peaceful embrace of eternity.
ArnL leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished by his children: ArnL Bennett, Jr. (Karen Bennett), Natalie Bennett (Bubba Quirino), Cassidy Clark (Brett Clark) and Messina Major. Whom he loved as his own, his adoring grandchildren, Jack, Blaire, Caydence, Noah, Orion, Roen, Lakota along with his surviving sisters, Joan, Linda, and Donna as well as many other relatives and friends. His pride in his family was immeasurable, and he found joy in being "everybody's dad."
He embarked on his life's journey with a sense of duty and honor, graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1967 and subsequently serving in the United States Navy. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
ArnL was known for his captivating storytelling and infectious laughter. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and brighten their day, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A dedicated fan of the University of Oklahoma Sooners, ArnL's enthusiasm for college football and softball was a source of camaraderie and spirited discussions among his friends and family. He also had a great love for the outdoors, where he found solace in building fires and relishing the beauty of nature.
ArnL's culinary adventures were a testament to his zest for life. He had an insatiable appetite for Mexican, seafood, and Chinese cuisine, and he shared his passion for food with his loved ones, creating lasting memories around the dining table.
ArnL Bennett's presence in our lives was a gift that brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and those he touched with his kindness and humor.
