In memory of
Anne Burch

I knew Arnie as a Unit 5 Principal before I knew him as Jim's uncle, and in both situations I have appreciated his unforgettably wide smile and devilish sense of humor.

It is hard to imagine a world without Arnie. He was the most important role model in my husbands life, the best man in our wedding, and he and Jeanne have supported Jeff and I every step of the way through our marriage. He was a loving grandfather to our children, a generous and joyful soul. Positive right up to the end of his life, always seeing the bright side of any situation. We will miss him every day and celebrate all of the fond memories that we have of him, always.

I have lots of good memories of Mr. Burch. I was a little first-grader, scared of school and I remember him teasing me about my long braids. Then he was also my math teacher in 6th or 7th grade. He always remembered me when I would see him later around town and would ask my dad about me when he saw him. He was a great principal!

Our sympathy to Jeanne and family at this sad time. Our families mingled socially with the friendship of our sons in addition to our days in the "halls of academia" at Challand Junior High and, briefly, at Wallace School. We remember a last farewell four years ago as we shared coffee time at McDonalds before our move to Siloam Springs, AR.
Cherish your memories.
Sincerely, Jim and Doreen Gryder

Arnie and i taught together at Wallace School. Even after we went to different schools we always visited at retired teacher events or whenever we connected in town. I called him my "teddy bear". He will be missed.

I always called Arnie "automatic double" because he hit so many doubles on the church softball team. He was a great educator and a great Family man and a good friend. He always had something interesting to tell you.
Condolences to the Family and Friends of Arnie.

Uncle Arnie was a very special man. He & Aunt Jeanne were a loving couple -- Uncle Arnie commented from his hospital bed at Hospice that he worshipped Aunt Jeanne and she was the best thing that ever happened to him! They were priceless together. Our condolences to Aunt Jeanne, Jen, and Jeff & family. Our thoughts & prayers are with you as you adjust. May your memories become bright as the stars. Sending our hugs & love.
