Arnold Eagle Boy, Jr.

Our beloved father, brother, son, uncle and grandpa Arnold Irwin Eagle Boy Jr. went to be with the Lord on April 4th 2025 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born to Arnold Eagle Boy Sr. and Vanessa Eagle in Poplar, Mt on April 26th, 1975.

Arnold Irwin Eagle Boy Jr. AKA (Son) was crazy and liked to laugh, joke and tease around. He loved being outdoors with his friends, drawing, painting and would build skate ramps for the neighborhood kids and enjoyed being around family. When it came time to working out he was always listening to his favorite music. Arnold would attended boarding schools in his younger years. As he grew older he ventured out and traveled, he was always on the move, never settling in one place for long, he loved roaming the country. Along his adventures he met Sarah and from this love, they welcomed a baby boy Sage (baby Sage) Eagleboy. Sage was the light and joy of Arnolds life, during this time Arnold and his family lived in Poplar, Mt up until Sage’s sudden passing. Soon after, Arnold and Sarah moved to Kentucky where they called home and would welcome their daughter Sorrow Eagleboy and son Severus Eagleboy. After this union Arnold would later travel to West Virginia where he met Jerri Lea Elkins and welcomed their daughter Dakota Elkins. Arnold had a free spirit and would start his travels once again and would make his way home when he could to see family but never stayed very long. All the little visits were memorable especially his laugh and bright smile. He eventually made his way to Las Vegas, NV and remained there.

Arnold is proceeded in death by his dad, Arnold Eagleboy Sr.; son, Sage Eagleboy; grandmother, Hazel (Dupree) Eagle; and grandpa, Kenneth Eagle Sr.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, friends so many to mention.

Arnold is survived by his daughter, Sorrow Eagleboy, son, Severus Eagleboy of Kentucky and daughter, Dakota Elkins of West Virginia; mother, Vanessa Eagle; sister, Steffie Eagleboy, niece, Jasmyne Hamilton and nephews, Irwin Russell, Wayne Eagleboy and family; sister, Marcella (Eagleboy) Chad Kirn and nephews, Logan Kirn and Clay Kirn, niece Pagean Kirn; sister, Dorrit (Eagle) Willem Venter and niece, Tristian Ward and nephews, Mikel Ward Jr. Willem Venter Jr.; sister, Marina Starr and nephews, Adrian Shanely, Dylan Moore, nieces, Alliana and Jada O’Brien and Zoe Starr all of Poplar, Mt; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the many phone calls, messages, thoughts and prayers during this time. Son will be greatly missed by all who loved him, Rest in Peace.

A wake will be held 7 p.m. Friday, May 2 at the Poplar Cultural Center. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Chelsea Cemetery.
