Arnold David "Dave" Ogren

My sincere condolences to all of the family. Dave spoke of his family and shared many memories of his time in Illinois and moving to Asheville. We met along with several other pet lovers, most evenings for many years at the dog park. Our love of animals and nature brought many happy moments. One of the favorite things Dave loved to do was to take the dogs for a "tractor" ride. Dave would drive the tractor around and the dogs and I would follow and run around, chase and play. Sometimes we had up to seven dogs and they all looked forward to this. They would stand by the tractor and wait patiently for Dave.
Dave was a good friend to me. Always ready to lend a hand, help solve a problem, share advice and have good conversations. Dave never met a stranger. His sense of humor and outgoing personality, created a lasting impression. Dave's memory will live on in the many lives he touched. I will miss you.
