Arnold Alfred Reyes

1944 - 2022

Arnold Alfred Reyes, age 77 passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2022, in San Antonio Texas. He was born on September 30th, 1944, in San Antonio. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Arnold was proceeded in death by his parents, Santos and Aurora Reyes, and his brother Oscar Reyes. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Margot Reyes, his children Marisa and husband Bill Gearhart, Roxana, and husband Steven Saide, his four grandchildren, and brother Roy Reyes and sister Norma Gardner. Arnold went to Peacock Military Academy and later received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from St. Mary's University. He served his country from 1968-1974 in the Army Reserves. After his time in the Army, he worked as an accountant in Houston and later for the family business at the San Antonio Meat Packing Company. Arnold had a passion for music, especially the piano. He enjoyed family gatherings where he and his brother played while his mother sang. Along with his passion for music he also enjoyed, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and repeating humorous phrases with his family.
