Arretina “Tina” Rose Guenette, 52, of Seagrove, danced her way to the stars on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional. Born on April 9, 1973, in Hampden County, MA, Tina lived life with a contagious zest that could light up even the cloudiest day.
Tina, a dedicated LPN, poured her heart into caring for others, but her true passions were found in the dirt under her fingernails from gardening, the salty breeze of beach getaways, and the wind-in-her-hair thrill of motorcycle rides. Her flowers bloomed as brightly as her spirit, and she could make any trip an adventure worth telling. Her Fur Baby Shih-Tzus Truman, Brady, Henry & Stinker, were a big part of her life bringing endless joy and snuggles. Above all, Tina’s heart belonged to her family—she was their biggest cheerleader and made every moment together a memory to cherish.
She leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Donald Christie, her “True Companion” who shared her love for life’s wild rides. Her sons, Tyler Guenette (married to his lovely wife Deanna, who gifted Tina three incredible grandsons—Gavin, Nicholas, and Christopher) and Zachary Guenette, who made her beam with pride, will carry her spark forward. Tina’s sisters, Nikki Malone and Ashley Donovan (with her husband Jay), were her rocks. Her mother Debbie Church, her mother-in-law, Marge, who supported Tina and shared their deep love for God together. And then there’s her best friend, Bianca Moriarty, who swears she loves Tina “to the moon and back”—though Tina, getting the last word. LOVES Bianca more. Tina’s legacy also lives on in a gaggle of nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends who adored her.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Dr. Stewart (retired) of Baystate Oncology, whose snazzy ties always brought a smile, Dr. Azzoli (formerly of MGH Oncology), who gave Tina a fighting chance with a clinical trial, and Dr. Seaquist of MGH, whom Tina absolutely adored. To the nurses, Lisa, Heather, & Alli who supported her with kindness and care through the years—y’all were her heroes.
