Arthur P. Blair, 72, of Girard, passed away on December 26, 2025, at home after a brief illness. Born on March 16, 1953, Art was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Deborah; his daughters, Jennifer (Bruce) Long, Stephanie (Heather) Blair, and Jessica (John) Blair, his granddaughter, Taylor (Sam) Vera, and his granddaughter, Taylor (Sam) Vera. He is also survived by his sister, Ida Adovasio, brother, Fred Blair, and many nieces and nephews.
Art was a lifelong resident of Girard and retired after more than 40 years of service at Syro Steel/Trinity. He loved spending time with family, in nature, riding bikes and kayaking at Moraine State Park/ Lake Arthur, practicing martial arts/ poekoelan and his Boston Terriers through the years, his cats and partnering with his wife at yearly craft shows for over 25 years. His kind, storytelling soul will be missed by many.
