To our dear "Ingenieur"- you may not know me, or the many of us on the Steve Hoffman forum. But Arthur was a beloved member that helped so many of us and spread so much joy and knowledge to the thousands that knew and interacted with him. I was shocked to see the news- we had no idea! I hope his family finds comfort in knowing the impact he has had on people all around the world in that humble music forum. He will be missed! I am glad to have known him. Greetings from Seattle!

I only knew Arthur from the audio forum that many here are also from.
We did basically become friends and he is sorely missed by all here.
He spoke of wife and family lovingly and once you got to know him it became quite clear that he was a man of great decency with a huge heart and also with a dose of humor. He will be greatly missed.

Another Steve Hoffman audio forum fan. What an incredibly intelligent gentleman who was always willing to share his knowledge. I loved his sharp wit and subtle humor. Arthur will be sorely missed by so many who never got to meet him. This is so sad.

I never met him in person. But know him from the Steve Hoffman audio forums. He was always willing to share his knowledge and to help out fellow members. The world is a lot worst off with his passing, he was a wonderful gem of a human being. Gonna miss you man.

Another member of the audio forum, wanting to tell his family what a valued member he was, always providing information and suggestions, and especially very detailed engineering analysis, and mathematical formulas! Hopefully this sounds familiar to his family and provides some level of comfort.
He will be missed in the audio and I´m sure electrical engineering community. Please know that he was well respected and loved.

I never met Arthur in person. But across the other side of the Atlantic, here in London, he imparted generous and often impishly witty advice on all matters audio and hifi. His intellect will be sorely missed. Jon T.
