Arthur "Bumpy" Burba Obituary
Arthur Howard “Bumpy” Burba, age 77 of Leakesville, MS; formerly of Edmonson County, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the University Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was of the Baptist faith, a US Army Veteran, a retired carpenter. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and going on four wheeling trips.
He is the son of the late Ralph H. Burba, Jr. and the late Irene Vineyard Burba.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Burba of Leakesville, MS; four children, Genene Gipson and her husband Michael, Arthur Burba, Jr. and his wife Tracey, April Maulden and her husband Chris, and Heather Neeley and her husband Derek; nine grandchildren, Bailey, Bradley, Brandie, Emilee, Nathan, Lilee, Christa, Destiny, and Lindsey; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Becky Ramsey (Cecil), Nancy Setser, Paula Clark (Donald); many nieces and nephews and other extended family also survive.
Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Brooks Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
