Arthur C. "Mr. Done" Viscusi Sr.

Arthur C. Viscusi, Sr. (Mr. Done), 90, died Thursday March 20th, 2014 at Capital Living and Rehabilitation Centre in Schenectady. Born December 29, 1923 in Schenectady, Arthur was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Rispoli) Viscusi and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. A lifetime resident of Schenectady, Arthur operated many coffee shops on Broadway in the Bellevue section of the city. Spending time with family and friends were his greatest joys. Playing a card game, rolling the dice and a good horse race were his passions. OTB and Boulevard Bowl brought him much happiness in his later years. Predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Anthony Viscusi and sisters Santa Corradi, Philomena Iovinelli and Elvira Viscusi, Arthur is survived by his wife Evelyn Gordon Viscusi, his loving children, Janice Viscusi, Arthur Viscusi, Jr. (Roseanne), Kathy Degasperis (Bob), Elizabeth Coppola (John) and Marianne Ostrander (Gary), his brother Charles Viscusi, his 9 devoted grandchildren, Stephen Viscusi, Audra Hedden (James), Duilio Viscusi (Nicole), David Viscusi (Vanessa), Amanda Hoffman (Justin), Nicholas Degasperis, Anthony Coppola, Mark Coppola and Matthew Ostrander (Fiancé Nicole), 9 cherished great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 28th at 10:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, followed at 11 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation will precede the service at the funeral home from 8:30am to 10:15 prior to the service. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Arthur's family would like to express many thanks to the administration and staff of the Maple Unit at Capital Living for their devoted care of their loved one in the final 2 ½ years of his life.
