Arthur "Marty" Downing

Marty and I were good friends growing up in Northfield. Often thought about him and all the memories. This is so sad.

So sorry to hear that Marty has passed. Went to school in Tilton with him.

I remember playing basketball with him in Contigiani's barn on Main Street when we were about 10-12 y.o. He always seemed to have a smile on his face.

Remember Marty very well from the tilton 49ers days going to Washington D.C in 1966 RIP Marty. RandyB.

Remember Marty as a dear dear friend growing up together on Park St. He´ll always be a member of the Park Street Gang. So many memories of the cabin, him showing off fish, he and my brother Skip caught. What a wonderful friend. RIP Marty

I´m from Northfield NH, Marty was one of my dear friends growing up on Park street. Lost track of him when he left NH. I have wonderful memories of my time spent with him until his departure from NH. I have also thought of him often, my deepest condolences to his family.
