Arthur L. “Art” Farmer, Jr. 68, of Lee County, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his residence.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. His cremated remains will be interred with his parents on Friday February 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Mausoleum.
Born in Albany, Mr. Farmer was retired from Dry Creek Properties. He had a passion for music, spending time with his family. He was passionate about the Georgia Bull Dogs, the Atlanta Falcons and Braves and animals. One of his great joys was cooking for other people and seeing the joy that it brought them.
Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur L. Farmer, Sr, Hilda Hamm Farmer and a niece Tana Mullis.
He is survived by his sisters, Faye Harrison, Tracy Weeks (Greg), niece Sherri Sholar (Jerald), great nieces and nephews, Kayln Faulk, Kolton Damerow (Savannah), Kylee Sholar, JD Sholar and Kamri Tatum.
