Flasher, Arthur R., 77, Mapleton Depot, passed away Friday February 28, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. Born January 10, 1948, Mount Union, son of the late Arthur B. and Lilian L. (Hayes) Flasher. Survived by his loving wife Patricia L. (Kelley) Flasher, whom he married on July 3, 1975. Also survived by his son, Scott Flasher; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Flasher and Isabella Flasher; special step great grandchildren, Willow, Renly and Declan; siblings, Victoria Lefler and Randy Flasher. Preceded in death by siblings, Dennis Flasher, Kevin Flasher, and Terry Flasher. Arthur was a 1966 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. After school he honorably served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart. Arthur worked at SCI Huntingdon and retired in June of 2005 after 22.5 years of service. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and toys. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 5, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday March 6, 2025, from 10a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment to take place at Haven Rest Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
