Arthur (Art) Lester Frewin, 78, passed away on February 25, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Art was born on February 18, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to Leroy Frewin and Dorcas Maria Fellows Frewin. Art married Judy Dell Losser in June of 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah, later divorced.
Art attended the University of Utah, earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and was working toward his MBA.
Art wanted to work for himself and opened his own brewing company, Art's Brewing, and helped many learn the art of making wine, beer, soda pop, vinegar, etc.
Art cherished his dogs and always had a dog by his side. He treasured the outdoors and loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed gardening and had a very large garden which he shared with his family and friends.
Art is survived by his sister, Bonnie Cloie Frewin Workman (Dennis); brother, Richard Alfred Frewin; sister-in-law, Candy Frewin (Le Roy); brother-in-law, Billy Hunter (Mary Lou); and many nephews and nieces.
Art is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Frewin and Dorcas Maria Fellows Frewin; siblings, Le Roy Fellows Frewin (Candy), Sandra Lee Bergmann, and Mary Lou Hunter (Billy).
There will be a family "Celebration of Life" held on April 11, 2026.
