Arthur Heffner Obituary
ARTHUR H. HEFFNER, age 88, passed away February 6, 2024. Beloved husband of 66 years the late Betty (nee DiCillo); devoted father of Christine Kovacek (Jerry), and James Heffner (Ginny); cherished grandfather of Meghan Waitkus, Katie Hufford (Joe), Anthony Heffner (Sarah) and Hannah Shaefer; loving great-grandfather of Lainey, Dominic and Giovani; dear brother of the late Henry Heffner; caring uncle of Anthony, Matthew and Diana Kosley.
Art was born in Cleveland, graduated from St. Michael grade school, and was a 1953 West Tech grad. He entered an apprenticeship program at Warner & Swasey where he worked for over 30 years as a design engineer. He was married to Betty Ann for over 66 years, a feat you rarely hear of today. He raised 2 children to always judge someone by their actions and character. He was a proud Father, Grandpa, and Papa. His never-ending stories will be truly missed. "You ask my father what time it is, he will tell you how to make a watch", and we will miss that.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org
