He was really a great director, I loved "Naked City", Silver Streak, Love Story. His work is continually making families smile, cry, and laugh. May those same films bring fond memories of him to life as the Hiller family grieve. Extending my deep sincere condolences. 1 Peter5:7, remember that others cares and share their prayers with the family , and more importantly God cares.

What a legacy and so sorry to hear of his loss to the entertainment industry. My first movie was Love Story when I went with a friend to downtown Chicago theatre with a friend. May it comfort all family, friends and colleagues that Arthur will return to his youthful vigor as promised in the Holy Wrotings at Job 33.25.

So sorry to hear of the passing of the great director, Arthur Hiller. I've seen all of his movies and watched the t.v. shows he directed. I believe everything he did was brilliant. My deep condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends & colleagues. He is gone, but his body of work will remain as his legacy. May he rest in eternal peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

Mr. Hiller's acceptance speech at the 2001 Oscars was the most eloquent, touching, and elegant ever yet it wasn't about himself, rather about those he loved and who brought him to his Hersholt Award. His words challenged everyone listening to be a better person. A man of great modest, sensitivity, talent and optimism re the human race. Thank you, Mr. Hiller, especially for "The In-Laws."
