Arthur Chet Jones, born September 22, 1943, passed peacefully on February 3, 2026, surrounded by friends and family who loved him deeply. Arthur was a devoted and selfless servant of Alcoholics Anonymous for 36 years, living his life fearlessly and unapologetically, guided by honesty, courage, and service to others.
Arthur loved fiercely and unconditionally. He was abundantly kind, unwaveringly loyal, and famously stubborn in a way that made him unforgettably unique -right up until the very end. His presence was powerful, his heart was generous, and his impact was immeasurable. Arthur's memory will live on forever in the hundreds of hearts he touched during his time on this earth.
In memory of Arthur, monetary donations may be made to Dry People's Club. More importantly, to honor his life and legacy, please help the still sick and suffering alcoholic find their way out of the darkness and into the light of hope and sobriety.
