Arthur Kailua kinney

Arthur Kailua Kinney III, age 68, passed away November 5, 2025, at his home in Lewisville, Texas. Art was born August 3, 1957, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Arthur Kailua Kinney Jr and Leslie Ruth Frazier Kinney. He served his country by joining the United States Army. After the army, Art received his bachelor's degree in science, biology, chemistry and physics in Tennessee. He became a teacher teaching science at Briar Hill Middle School, in Highland Village. He received many awards including Teacher of the Year. He was also very active in the boy scouts of America. He also loved his native Hawaiian food and knew where all the best places were in the area and shared them with his friends.

Art's main priority was his family. He was a loving, kind and wonderful husband and father. Our Heavenly Father has a special place for him in Heaven.

A celebration of life will be held in Art's honor, on Sunday, November 16th, at 2pm, at Mulkey Mason Funeral home in Lewisville. There will be a time of visitation 1hour prior to the service and time of visitation after the service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask contributions be made to The Parkinson's Foundation https://www.parkinson.org., along with St Jude's.
