Cookie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene Medina: his parents, Candelario and Eloisa medina: Also his brothers Joseph Medina and Gilbert Medina. His son Jason Medina. his sisters Isabel (Willie Chavez), Cleo Sandoval, Priscilla (Tim Pineda), and Patricia (Bill Trujillo): his brothers Sunny (Evelyn) Medina and Robert "Satch" Medina: as well as several nieces, Nephews, and great great grand- nephews.
He is survived by his sisters Rita (Art Montoya) and Virginia (Frank Benavidez), his brother Eddie (Roberta) Medina, and his brother-in-law Ray Estrada (Barbara Trujillo). Cookie is also lovingly remembered by Numerous Nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Cookie's kind and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His deep love and care for those around him was reciprocated, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Funeral Mass in Honor of Cookie will Be held on FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025 At ST. MARY'S CHURCH in Walsenburg Colo.
