Arthur J. Morgan passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ireland to the late Sarah (née Boyle) and Michael Morgan. Arthur was the beloved husband of the late Judith Morgan and a devoted father to Lisa Morgan and Michael Morgan.
He is survived by his cherished siblings Rosemary, Brigid, Michael, Terrance, Sarah, Vincent, and Theresa, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Arthur shared a particularly close bond with his mother and was the first of his family to immigrate to the United States in the 1960s. He made his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he spent the remainder of his life. A simple man with a strong work ethic, Arthur worked for many years as a roofer, while also landscaping and enjoying time selling goods at the flea market.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Burns Funeral Home, 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., followed by his service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
