I was saddened to hear of Art's passing. He was such gentleman who truly cared for our community. I worked with him on the renovation of the Western Greenwich Civic Center and his input was always valuable and to the point. I know my husband worked with him countless times and even the sometimes disagreed on the "how" they always agreed on the "why. May the prayers and condolences of those who knew him help you through this time of loss!

So sorry to hear of Art's passing. There is no doubting Art's love of Greenwich and its residents. A reliable fiscal conservative he made an important impact on the BET. As a member of the Republican Town Committee I often relied on him for help and guidance when I served as Chairman. But perhaps his greatest legacy was the Western Greenwich Civic Center where he led a successful public-private partnership to renovate the building that will benefit generations to come. Thank you, Art, for all you did. RIP

It was my privilege to serve along side Art on the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation for several years. Art was a gentleman. We may have been of different Parties and come from different philosophies, but with Art there was always warm and respectful open dialogue. That is missed today and never replaced. Thank you, Art. You were a prince.

My heartfelt condolences to Art´s family. I was fortunate to serve alongside Art on the District 9 RTM and to work with him through the Western Greenwich Civic Center Foundation. Those efforts to save and renovate the building brought out the very best in him - his dedication, his practicality, and his deep love for this community.
When he later served on the BET during my time as First Selectman, I came to appreciate even more how thoughtful and well-grounded he was in Town governance, investments, and legal matters. Art and Marie were always there - present, engaged, and supportive at so many Town events.
I will remember Art not only for his diligence and intelligence, but for his calm, steady temperament and his genuine kindness.
Rest in peace, Art. You will be missed.
